Preview: Stevensville vs. Hamilton
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Hamilton. On Friday they take on Stevensville at 7:00 PM. Stevensville will need to watch out since Hamilton have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Last week, Hamilton put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Polson 48-12. With Hamilton ahead 41-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Stevensville lost to Columbia Falls, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 14-55. Stevensville were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-48.
Hamilton's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Stevensville's defeat dropped them down to 2-2. In their win, Hamilton relied heavily on junior Carson Rostad, who passed for 227 yards and 4 touchdowns. Stevensville will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
