Volleyball Recap: St. Pius X Comes Up Short

St. Pius X lost against Lee's Summit West back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lee's Summit West can attribute much of their success to Jayden Ring, who had seven digs and two aces. Ring is on a roll when it comes to aces, as he's now served two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

St. Pius X's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Lee's Summit West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5-1 record this season.

St. Pius X will square off against Rockhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hawklets will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lee's Summit West, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Staley on the 25th.
