Soccer Recap: Babcock Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Babcock was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 6-1 to The Classical Academy of Sarasota Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trailblazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in December of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Kathryn Hoffman, who's now up to 11 this season.

Babcock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for The Classical Academy of Sarasota, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Gateway Charter the next time they take the pitch. The Classical Academy of Sarasota will head out to face Gateway Charter at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Babcock will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
