Soccer Recap: Provo Find Success

Provo kept a clean sheet against Payson on Friday. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 back in March.

Fred Mendez Ortega and Jared Cortes scored both of Provo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Provo now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Payson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
