Natrona County extended the longest winning streak in 4A this week by beating East, 34-2. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Evanston suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 14-12 loss to Evanston. The Devils had been ranked 25th, but fell to 27 following the defeat.
Natrona County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. BRECKEN BIGGS threw for 121 and one touchdown and AUSTIN DUCELLO had 93 yards receiving. On the ground JOSH FLANIGAN chipped in 67 yards. LOGAN WILSON helped Natrona County's passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
Natrona County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. BIGGS has thrown for 967 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while DUCELLO has 23 catches for 269 yards. FLANIGAN leads the league in rushing with 611 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Campbell County and Central. The Camels comes into the matchup ranked fifth in the state, while the Indians ranks 17th.
Evanston was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from ninth to seventh in 4A. The Devils vanquished South 14-12 earlier in the week.
