Volleyball Game Preview: Cedar Creek Pirates vs. Highland Regional Tartans

Cedar Creek is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Highland Regional a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Cedar Creek Pirates will look to defend their home court against the Highland Regional Tartans at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Wednesday, Cedar Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Oakcrest and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Highland Regional came up short against Kingsway on Monday and fell 2-0.

Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Highland Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Cedar Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Highland Regional in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Tartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
