Basketball Recap: Valdosta Extends Home Winning Streak to 11

Valdosta extended their home winning streak to 11 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Jabarri Williams. The Valdosta Wildcats blew past the Richmond Hill Wildcats 70-49 on Friday thanks in part to Williams, who went 8 of 20 en route to 26 points along with seven assists and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Valdosta has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Richmond Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Valdosta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 47-34 loss against Tift County on the 18th. As for Richmond Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-53 defeat against Colquitt County on the 18th.
