Lexington has gone 8-1 against Aurora recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Minutemen will head out to take on the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lexington fell victim to Kearney Catholic and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stars. Lexington have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Aurora kept a clean sheet against Seward on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bluejays 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Aurora were the better team in the second half.

Aurora's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Lexington skirted past Aurora 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Minutemen since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
