Jackson won the last time they faced Pike County and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Devils enjoyed a cozy 27-13 victory over the Pirates. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Jackson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Danarri Brown out in front who rushed for 103 yards and one score on only eight carries. Brown's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Another receiver making a difference was Jaison McCall, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Jackson proved: they limited Pike County to a paltry 3.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Micah Cook for the heroic effort on defense: he. Jackson didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.1.

Jackson's defense didn't let Brayden O'Connell, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks.
