Westland Hialeah's loss ends four-game winning streak on the road

The Westland Hialeah Wildcats lost against the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Westland Hialeah's tough 56-35 defeat to Booker T. Washington might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Westland Hialeah has scored all season.

Leading Booker T. Washington to victory were Zephaniah Pratt and Jahmal David . Pratt scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while David scored 27 points. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Eli Nunez, who scored five points along with three steals.

Westland Hialeah's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2. As for Booker T. Washington, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westland Hialeah will be home for the holidays to greet Hialeah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hialeah's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. Booker T. Washington will be home for the holidays to greet Dade Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dade Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
