Basketball Recap: Delta Rabbits vs. Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Delta can now relate to. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 54-38 to the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs. The Rabbits were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February of 2019.
Despite the loss, Delta still got an impressive performance from Brody Cleaver, who posted 12 points and eight boards. Cleaver continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tate Topham, who scored five points and eight rebounds.
Longar Alor had an outrageously good game for Judge Memorial Catholic as he almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. That's the most points Alor has posted since back in November of 2024. Aymen Ismail was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists.
Delta's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11.
Delta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they will face off against Canyon View at 12:50 p.m. on February 24th. One thing working in Canyon View's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
