Soccer Game Preview: Battle Creek vs. Culleoka

The Battle Creek Grizzlies will square off against the Culleoka Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Battle Creek will be strutting in after a victory while Culleoka will be coming in after a loss.

Battle Creek took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Hickman County 8-2. The result was nothing new for Battle Creek, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Culleoka was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fayetteville. Culleoka have struggled against Fayetteville recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Culleoka's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Battle Creek, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Battle Creek took their win against Culleoka in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 6-1 score. Do the Grizzlies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
