Wesleyan had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Aquinas Fightin' Irish on Friday as they made off with a 5-1 win. Considering Wesleyan have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Wesleyan is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those eight games. As for Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Wesleyan will square off against Paideia on Tuesday. Paideia will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wesleyan surely won't give up without a fight. Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
