Paxton has no trouble against Baker

The Paxton Bobcats entered their tilt with the Baker Gators with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Paxton blew past Baker 50-29.

Among those leading the charge was Hydie Varnum, who scored 14 points along with 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Paxton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Carson, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.

Paxton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Baker, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Paxton will head out on the road to face off against West Florida Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Florida Baptist Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Baker, they will be playing at home against Aletheia Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
