Flag Football Recap: Poly Comes Up Short

After soaring to 33 points the game before, Poly was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They took a 14-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hemet Bulldogs. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 19-12.

The critical scores for Hemet came from Shiloh Wigal and Morgan Clark.

Poly's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Hemet, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Coincidentally, Poly and Hemet will both be playing Murrieta Valley the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Nighthawks at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
