Basketball Game Preview: Advanced Studies vs. Lead Hill Tigers

Advanced Studies is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Deer last Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Meanwhile, Lead Hill took their game on Friday with ease, bagging an 80-45 victory over Deer. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly 35 points.

Advanced Studies better focus on containing Nolan Turner and Noah Royce as the pair were huge in Lead Hill's win. Turner went 7 for 11 en route to 18 points and five steals, while Royce posted ten points along with eight assists and four steals. That's the most steals Turner has posted since back in January of 2024. Brett Arnold was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points and three steals.

Advanced Studies' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lead Hill, they pushed their record up to 19-12 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Advanced Studies was dealt a bruising 64-13 loss at the hands of Lead Hill when the teams last played back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Royce, who went 7 for 12 en route to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.
