Volleyball Recap: Lyons Comes Up Short

Lyons was the 2-0 winner over Bolingbrook when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Emma O'Brien paced Lyons' offense, picking up 13 kills. O'Brien got some help from Colleen Chambers and her 23 assists.

Lyons' defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bolingbrook, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Lyons didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Wauconda on the 12th. As for Bolingbrook, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Normal Community on the 12th.
