Basketball Recap: Graham Comes Up Short

Graham lost against Seaforth back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Graham Red Devils were beaten by the Seaforth Hawks 53-10. The contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Gabrielle White continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Seaforth, going 7 for 8 on her way to 16 points and six steals. The game was White's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Peyton Collins was another key player, putting up six points along with five assists and five steals.

Graham's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Seaforth, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Graham will face off against Clover Garden School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clover Garden School's defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so Graham's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Seaforth, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cummings at 6:00 p.m.
