Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highlands Christian). They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging an 81-54 victory over the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 76-60 win the Sharks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Angel Scomparin was his usual excellent self, putting up 32 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Highlands Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Bridges, who posted 11 points.

Despite the loss, Sheridan Hills Christian still got an impressive performance from Micah Smith, who earned 15 points. Abraham Seay was another key player, scoring eight points.

Highlands Christian's record now sits at 7-11. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-10.

Highlands Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 101-20 victory against Cristo Rey on the 17th. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-39 win against Franklin Academy on the 17th.
