Basketball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Takes a Loss

Kenosha Tremper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Racine Park Panthers 60-32. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Racine Park was led to victory by Myasia Bostick and Addison Betker. Bostick dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 boards, while Betker went 7 for 11 on her way to 15 points and three steals. Bostick continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Leylanna Cruz was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

Kenosha Tremper's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Racine Park, their record is now 8-9.

Kenosha Tremper has already played their next match (against Oak Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Racine Park will square off against Indian Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
