Baseball Recap: Delaware Valley Takes a Loss

If Delaware Valley was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Bernards on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Terriers came up short against the Gill St. Bernard's Knights on Tuesday, falling 13-7.

Delaware Valley's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5. As for Gill St. Bernard's, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Delaware Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-5 win against South Hunterdon on the 23rd. Hopefully Gill St. Bernard's paid attention to the Terriers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Terriers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
