Preview: Loveland Tigers vs. Little Miami Panthers
Loveland is 7-2 against Little Miami since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Loveland Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Little Miami Panthers at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Loveland is ranked 211th, while Little Miami is ranked 195th).
Loveland suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 68-46 defeat at the hands of Milford. Loveland has struggled against Milford recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Little Miami had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They managed a 51-47 win over West Clermont.
Loveland's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Little Miami, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
Loveland came up short against Little Miami in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 61-52. Can Loveland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
