Volleyball Recap: Rockwell Marshals vs. Wasatch Academy Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Freedom Prep Academy, Rockwell was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wasatch Academy Tigers. The win was some much needed relief for the Marshals as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 25-5, 25-18.
Rockwell was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 30 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Rockwell's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Wasatch Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockwell will head out to challenge Merit Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rockwell is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Wasatch Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Vanguard Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
