Basketball Recap: Elgin Finds Home Court Redemption Against Pine Eagle

There's no place like home for Elgin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Pine Eagle Spartans out 46-43. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elgin has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Pine Eagle, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Elgin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-22 win against Prairie City/Burnt River on the 25th. As for Pine Eagle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 47-38 victory against Wallowa on the 25th.
