Volleyball Game Preview: Downey Vikings vs. Warren Bears

The Downey Vikings will take on the Warren Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Downey will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Downey got the win against Katella by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Warren made easy work of La Mirada on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Matadores: they've now won five in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Warren was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-11.

Warren's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Downey, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Everything went Downey's way against Warren when the teams last played on September 11th, as Downey made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
