Softball Recap: Stark County Takes a Loss

Stark County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-4 to the Erie Cardinals.

Stark County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenna Newton, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Cambri Holmstrom also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Stark County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Erie, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Stark County will stay at home for another game and welcome Erie-Prophetstown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erie, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Kewanee at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
