Recap: Mead Raiders vs. David City Scouts
This season hasn't been kind to the Mead Raiders, who are still winless after their 14th contest. They had to suffer through a rough 61-11 loss at the hands of David City. Mead has not had much luck with David City recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Taylar Shull was Mead's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Emily Kuhr held things down on the boards with four rebounds.
Mead's defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-14. As for David City, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mead will take on Tekamah-Herman at TBD on Thursday. As for David City, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Central City at 5:15 p.m. Central City is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
