Cascade has gone 9-1 against South Putnam recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cadets will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m.
Cascade is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against Plainfield on Thursday, falling 8-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Cascade saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Allen, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

The Eagles never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
Taylor Boyce was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Boyce was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
In other batting news, Elliana Cox was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Lilah Holderfield, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI and one double.
South Putnam always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
