Volleyball Recap: Harrison Beats Mercy Mcauley for Their Third Straight Victory

Harrison waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mercy McAuley Wolves. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Harrison walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-21, 15-25, 25-18, 25-15.

Aubrey Templin paced Harrison's offense, picking up 22 kills. Templin got some help from Kenna Farris and her 18 assists.

Despite the loss, Mercy McAuley still got an impressive performance from Aubrey Blanton, who had ten digs and two aces.

Harrison's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Mercy McAuley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrison will face off against Talawanda at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mercy McAuley, they will welcome Summit Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
