Volleyball Recap: New Lothrop Takes a Loss

New Lothrop was the 2-0 winner over Laingsburg when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, New Lothrop sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-15, 20-25, 15-10.

New Lothrop dropped their record down to 1-4-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Laingsburg, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

New Lothrop has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Williamston on the 6th. As for Laingsburg, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against St. Patrick at 7:00 p.m.
