Softball Recap: St. Ignace Saints vs. Rudyard Bulldogs
St. Ignace couldn't beat Rudyard on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Saints came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 18-8. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
St. Ignace saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Cullen, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs. Arianna Harrison was another, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs.
St. Ignace's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rudyard, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
St. Ignace wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-4 defeat against Brimley on the 30th. As for Rudyard, they will square off against Cedarville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
