Caldwell had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came out on top against the River Pilots by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

Lyla Lowe paced Caldwell's offense, picking up 14 kills. Lowe got some help from Sophia Marshall and her 46 assists. Marshall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Caldwell's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for River, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Looking ahead, Caldwell will be taking part in a tournament against Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. River has already played their next matchup (against Frontier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
