Softball Recap: Portage Comes Up Short

Portage fell victim to West Branch and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 17-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Portage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Branch, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Portage will challenge Windber at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Windber will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Portage surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Branch, they will face off against Cambria Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
