Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Taylor walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Yellowjackets, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Taylor had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-8.

Among those leading the charge was Cayden Frimming, who had 11 digs and three assists. That's the most digs he has posted over his last ten games.

Taylor's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
