Mt. Zion won the last time they faced Jonesboro and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Cardinals 8-1. Considering Mt. Zion have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Jonesboro from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Jaylin Burgos-Guzman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Mt. Zion's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those three contests. As for Jonesboro, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Mt. Zion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jonesboro, they will head out on the road to square off against Utopian Academy for the Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Jonesboro will be up against Utopian Academy for the Arts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.09 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
