After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wheeling Central Catholic, Barnesville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Harrison Central Huskies with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Shamrocks in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10, 25-11.

Aiva Leasure paced Barnesville's offense, picking up 15 kills. Leasure got some help from Londyn Gibson and her 21 assists. Gibson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Barnesville's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Harrison Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Barnesville will square off against Wellsville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harrison Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Martins Ferry on the 2nd.
