Volleyball Game Preview: Bryan Bears vs. Burke Bulldogs

Bryan is 0-10 against Burke since September of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Bears will square off against the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. Burke took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bryan, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with 14 defeats in a row, Bryan turned things around against Omaha North on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Burke came up short against Lincoln Northeast on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

While Burke ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-19.

Burke's loss dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Bryan, their win bumped their record up to 2-26.

Bryan couldn't quite get it done against Burke in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
