Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Baker vs. Squalicum

Mt. Baker is 0-5 against Squalicum since April of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Mountaineers will venture away from home to take on the Storm at 7:00 p.m.

Mt. Baker fell victim to Lynden and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Mt. Baker can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Lynden are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Squalicum kept a clean sheet against Nooksack Valley on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Pioneers. The win continues a trend for Squalicum in their matchups with Nooksack Valley: they've now won eight in a row.

Squalicum's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Mt. Baker, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
