Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Titans vs. Woods Cross Wildcats
Syracuse was the 2-0 winner over Woods Cross when they last played one another back in September of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Thursday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While Syracuse had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 15-25, 25-22, 25-21.
Brinley Barkdull paced Syracuse's offense, picking up 13 kills. Barkdull got some help from Miyah Lish and her 36 assists. Mckinley Barkdull controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Syracuse's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Woods Cross, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
