Baseball Recap: New Hampton School Comes Up Short

New Hampton School was the 6-2 winner over Kimball Union Academy when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 8-5 to the Wildcats on Wednesday.

New Hampton School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Marks, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

New Hampton School now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Kimball Union Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. New Hampton School is set to take on their familiar foe Tilton School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kimball Union Academy will challenge rival St. Paul's at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
