Basketball Recap: Selinsgrove Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

If Shikellamy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Selinsgrove, they should've done a better job of containing Gavin Bastian. The Selinsgrove Seals strolled past the Shikellamy Braves with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 70-53 thanks in part to Bastian, who posted 30 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

Selinsgrove has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Shikellamy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Selinsgrove will head out on the road to take on Central Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shikellamy, they will welcome Bellefonte at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
