Football Game Preview: St. James vs. Douglass

St. James will look to defend their home turf on Saturday against Douglass at 12:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

St. James came up short against Smithsburg last week, falling 21-28. St. James's defeat came about despite a quality game from sophomore Aiden Ensor, who rushed for 133 yards and 1 touchdown.

Meanwhile, Douglass were able to grind out a solid win over Patterson, winning 24-16.

Douglass's victory lifted them to 3-0 while St. James's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Douglass can add another positive mark to their record or if St. James can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Douglass's step.
