Volleyball Recap: Victoria East Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tomas on Friday, Victoria East came back down to earth. The Titans came up short against the Victoria West Warriors on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-14.

Victoria East's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-20. As for Victoria West, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-6.

The future could be bright for both Victoria East and Victoria West: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Titans will try to hand Terry their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Victoria West will look to extend Tomas' three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
