Football Game Preview: Panguitch Bobcats vs. Water Canyon Wildcats

The Panguitch Bobcats will head out to face off against the Water Canyon Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Panguitch has given up an average of 49 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Panguitch is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: St. Joseph, who was ranked seventh at the time (Panguitch was ranked tenth). The Bobcats took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jayhawks on Friday.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Water Canyon's offense. They were dealt a 65-0 loss at the hands of Milford on Friday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Water Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Panguitch, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-6.

Panguitch was dealt a bruising 48-8 loss at the hands of Water Canyon when the teams last played back in August. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
