Football Recap: Creek Valley Storm vs. Potter-Dix Coyotes

A win for Creek Valley just wasn't in the cards on Thursday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were dealt a 76-26 defeat at the hands of the Potter-Dix Coyotes. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Luke Fletcher threw for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Lane Brenneman was his top target, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 58 receiving yards.

Creek Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Potter-Dix, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creek Valley will challenge Garden County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Garden County will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Creek Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Potter-Dix, they will face off against South Platte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Platte is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 31 points per game this season.
