Softball Recap: Great Mills Hornets vs. Lackey Chargers

Great Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lackey Chargers. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Olivia Quinn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

The Braves will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
