Recap: All S Saints vs. Liberty Christian Warriors
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the All S Saints, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 45-17 loss at the hands of the Warriors. All S's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, All S still got an impressive performance from Kelden Ryan, who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 196 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Cole Welliver was his usual excellent self, throwing for 297 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt for Liberty Christian. Quinton Brown was in the mix too, providing Liberty Christian with two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Liberty Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was Mac Saul and his three sacks.
All S's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Liberty Christian, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
All S does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Liberty Christian will be playing at home against Regents at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Regents is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
