Football Recap: Twentynine Palms Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Twentynine Palms lost against Banning back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Broncos, falling 42-22. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Twentynine Palms took the loss, they still got scores from Wyatt Granger, Aaron Haney, and Josh Reynoso.

Banning's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JMARI GARLINGTON led the charge by picking up 242 receiving yards and three TDs. GARLINGTON really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards. JADONNIE NICHOLS also helped out as he racked up 163 receiving yards.

Twentynine Palms now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Banning, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Twentynine Palms and Banning will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats will square off against rival Indio at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Banning is set to take on their familiar foe Desert Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
