Soccer Recap: Pioneer Comes Up Short

Pioneer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sharyland Rattlers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rattlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-1 back in January.

Pioneer's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Sharyland, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-8.

Coming up, Pioneer will challenge Rowe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sharyland, they will be playing at home against Vela at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
