J. Alvarez Game Report: vs Mountain View

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday J. Alvarez stepped things up a notch to give Covina the 'W'. Alvarez scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Alvarez and Covina will square off against Arroyo at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Arroyo will enter the matchup having just beaten Glendale, so Covina will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
